A hair transplant starts with a plan for the hair you have and the coverage you want. At Let Me In, the assessment looks at your hairline, donor area and ongoing hair loss before discussing a procedure or its cost.
Use this guide to prepare for that conversation. If you are ready to discuss your own case, book a hair transplant consultation and mention the areas that concern you.
What determines hair transplant cost in Nepal?
There is no single price that fits every hair transplant. A small hairline adjustment and broader scalp coverage require different plans. Your cost needs to reflect the area being treated, the grafts that can be safely taken from the donor area and the work involved.
- Area and intended coverage. Rebuilding the front hairline, filling the crown and treating several areas are different goals.
- Donor supply and graft plan. Available donor hair limits what can realistically be achieved. More grafts are not automatically the right answer.
- Procedure and complexity. The recommended technique, placement and any previous transplant affect the plan. Ask which method is proposed and why.
- Care around the procedure. Clarify consultation, tests, medicines, aftercare and follow-up costs before comparing quotations.
Let Me In provides an individual quotation after assessment rather than a fixed online price. Request an assessment and personalised quote so you can compare a defined treatment plan, not just a headline figure.
What to clarify in your quotation
Ask for the proposed treatment area and graft estimate, the clinician responsible for the procedure and a clear breakdown of what the quoted amount covers. Confirm whether consultations, tests, medicines and follow-up visits are included or charged separately.
If additional hair-loss treatment is recommended, ask what it is intended to achieve, whether it is optional and what it costs. PRP or GFC should not be assumed to be part of every transplant plan.
Is a transplant the right next step?
A consultation should establish the cause and pattern of your hair loss, review your health and previous treatments, and assess the donor area. Your expectations matter too: the team needs to understand the hairline and coverage you are hoping for.
Active thinning may need a longer-term management plan. A transplant redistributes available hair; it does not create an unlimited supply or stop hair loss elsewhere. If surgery is not the right starting point, discuss hair restoration options and whether they suit your diagnosis.
Our guide to PRP treatment explains another option you can ask about during a hair-loss consultation.
How your treatment is planned
1. Assess the scalp and donor area
The assessment considers where hair is thinning, the quality and density of donor hair, previous treatment and likely future loss. Bring details of medicines and any earlier procedures.
2. Agree the hairline and coverage
Hairline design should suit your facial proportions and leave room for future changes. Discuss which areas take priority and what density is realistic with the donor hair available.
3. Confirm the procedure and aftercare
Before proceeding, understand the proposed extraction and placement method, who will perform each part, the recovery instructions and the follow-up plan. Ask to see relevant, documented cases and have the team explain their timelines.
Recovery, growth and possible risks
Recovery and visible growth happen on different timelines. Follow the clinic's instructions for washing, protecting the grafts, exercise and returning to your routine. Ask who to contact if you have concerns during healing.
Growth is gradual over the following months. Early photographs cannot establish the final result. Hair around the transplanted area may continue to thin, which is why ongoing assessment matters.
As with other surgery, a hair transplant can involve bleeding, infection, scarring or an anaesthetic reaction. Grafts may not grow as expected. Discuss your individual risks and realistic outcomes before deciding.
Questions to bring to your consultation
Can I get a price from photographs?
Photographs may help explain your concerns, but they do not replace a scalp and donor assessment. Ask whether any preliminary estimate may change after an in-person examination.

Is a cheaper per-graft price the best comparison?
Only when the treatment plans and inclusions are comparable. Check how grafts are counted, who performs the work, the intended coverage and the aftercare included.
Will one procedure cover everything?
That depends on donor supply, the area to cover and future hair loss. Discuss priorities and whether further treatment might be needed rather than assuming one procedure will meet every goal.
Can I discuss a transplant in Kathmandu or Pokhara?
Contact our Baneshwor, Maharajgunj or Pokhara branch to arrange an assessment. Confirm the procedure location and any follow-up or travel arrangements with the clinic before booking treatment.

Discuss your hairline and treatment budget
Tell us which areas concern you, how long you have noticed the change and whether you have had previous treatment. The next step is a consultation to discuss suitability, achievable coverage and an individual quotation.
